Totowa, NJ (May 2025) –Nature’s Garden Probiotic Yoggies by Cibo Vita were honored with the coveted Innovation Award at ISM Japan, the first dedicated trade fair in East Asia for Sweets and Snacks. The Tokyo fair took place last month. ISM Japan is produced by Koelnmesse GmBH, a leading European trade show organizer based in Germany.
Out of 992 exhibitors representing twenty-two countries, fourteen manufacturers were chosen to be featured in the ISM New Product showcase. Only two products, including Probiotic Yoggies, received Innovation Awards.
“Japanese consumers have a deep appreciation for probiotics, driven by a rich cultural heritage of fermented foods, a strong focus on digestive health, and a growing awareness of how the gut microbiome influences overall well-being,” stated Makoto Takagi, Managing Director, Koelnmesse Japan. “These factors created a strong foundation; the judges believe Probiotic Yoggies will thrive in the Japanese market.”
“The judges chose Probiotic Yoggies for Nature’s Garden’s commitment to clean, health-conscious nutrition. They believe that the products’ gluten-free and non-GMO qualities align perfectly with the values of today’s Japanese consumers who prioritize quality and wellness,” Takagi continued.
In addition, the judges commended Nature’s Garden’s compact packaging, calling it an ideal fit for the Japanese market, where space-saving, convenient formats are preferred, as well as the product’s recyclable packaging.
Nature’s Garden launched Probiotic Yoggies in the U.S. in 2023—small bites, made with real fruit covered in yogurt with gut-healthy probiotics—and ignited enthusiasm among health-conscious Millennial moms and GenZ who took Yoggies viral on social media and popularized the only fruit snack with probiotics-CFU Lactobacillus Rhamnosus GG. In 2024, Nature’s Garden expanded the line to include Mixed Berry and Lemonberry flavors; in 2025 Mango-Peach was introduced.
Yoggies have 3 grams of dietary fiber and 80 calories per serving contain no artificial colors or flavors, and come in recyclable packaging. They feature 2 billion probiotic cultures via a patented microencapsulated delivery system that allows for its high-quality probiotic strain to remain shelf-stable, ensuring it reaches the gut intact with full absorption for maximum digestive benefit.
In keeping with its focus of creating high quality functional foods, Nature’s Garden is continuously investing in R&D to create new ways to combine the inherent goodness of fruit with the digestive wellness benefits of Probiotics. Visit www.CiboVita.com
